In general, the stamping dies are composed of two parts. They are  movable mold and the fixed mold. The design of parting surface has a direct effect on product quality and die structure. 

The parting surface is the part that could contact on the closing state. In order to take out conveniently while casting, we is habit of making the casting into several parts. Its combined is called parting surface. You should ensure the casting quality when choosing as soon as possible. When you determine the parting surface, you must obey some rules. At first, the die structure had better simple and it is favor of demoulding successfully to the stamping one. Certainly you can not do anything which may effect the appearance quality of the product. The size precision of the product must be good.

Drawing Dies In Our Life

In general, drawing dies are refers to various mold of drawing metal wire and fiber drawing die. All of drawing dies center have their own a special shape. Such as hole, round, square, star anise and other special shapes.

Choose Steel For Cold Heading Dies

A lot of fasteners are formed by cold heading dies. The cold heading dies have been born violent punching loads. The concave die surface is under high stress. So the high stress could offset the stress which produced during the cold heading process.

Generally speaking, cold heading dies which used for small quantities of workpiece usually choose carbon tool steel or low alloy cold die steel. The mold cavity surface must be done local quenching. And making the hardness of cavity surface reach to HRC60. But the die central should reach to the range from HRC35 to HRC45. Certainly people would choose die steel by its section size. Besides it owns hardenability. Too shallow hardened layer is easy to result in cavity collapse. On the contrary, too deep hardened layer may make the die cracking.

Some cold heading dies need long service time. These one are often adopt high alloy die steel or high speed steel. In order to make the die could bear high impact load, we can use combined die structure. Cold heading dies with high hardness are made of die material which is in high alloy. Making cold or hot pressing method inserts into the outer sleeve. Then they will be contacting closely.

Application Of Tungsten Carbide Rods

Reduction Size Of Tungsten Carbide Powder Oxides

There are many factors that influence reduction size of tungsten carbide powder oxides. Such as tungsten carbide powder properties, impurities, and temperature. Partial pressure of water vapor is a main factor to powder particle size and shape change. Water vapor is a basic condition to chemical vapor removal reaction, it includes water vapor in hydrogen and reduction reactions. It is not a stable value in the process of recovery.
